Senior Data Engineer

The Mission

CashCow is an earn-to-play gaming company revolutionizing user acquisition through performance-based rewards. We are building the next generation of self-optimizing game economies using AI and real-time experimentation. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take full ownership of our data foundation and build it from the ground up.

The Role

You will design, build, and scale CashCow’s core infrastructure. Working closely with Product, AI, and Engineering, you’ll enable the analytics and automation that optimize our games in real time. This is a high-impact role where you define the architecture and best practices for a scaling startup.

Responsibilities

• Data Platform: Build a scalable platform from ingestion to analytics using AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and Terraform.
• Pipelines & APIs: Develop robust data pipelines and expose clean data APIs for internal services.
• Economic Intelligence: Support real-time use cases for Fraud Detection, LTV Prediction, and Retention.
• Automation: Collaborate on agentic systems that automatically improve game economics.
• Governance: Ensure data quality, observability, and documentation across the stack.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering (Startup experience is a major plus).
• Technical Mastery: Strong Python and SQL skills with hands-on Snowflake and dbt experience.
• Infrastructure: Proven ability to build production pipelines on AWS using Terraform.
• Architecture: Deep understanding of data modeling and analytics best practices
• Bonus: Background in gaming, marketplaces, or supporting production ML models.
