Devops Lead

The Nexite platform empowers users to gain real-time, data-led insights, optimizing in-store decision-making.

We seek an experienced and highly capable Devops Lead with strong cloud (GCP) and Kubernetes expertise, capable of driving projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, self manage and lead impactful initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary DevOps domain owner, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.
• Lead and execute impactful projects while maintaining seamless day-to-day DevOps operations.
• Architect, manage, and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design, deploy, and maintain robust Kubernetes (K8s) systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste while ensuring systems are right-sized for scalability and performance.
• Oversee and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, ensuring efficient, automated, and error-free deployments.
• Evaluate emerging tools and technologies, conduct POCs, and integrate proven solutions into the infrastructure.
• Lead the company's security and stability efforts
• Implement and enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with developers, enhancing enablement and self-service

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a proven track record of managing cloud-based infrastructure (GCP experience preferred).
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes (K8s), containerization, and orchestration at scale.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Helm.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, implement, and integrate new tools and technologies.
• Experience with AI tools management and security
• FinOps tools experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor team members and collaborate cross-functionally.
