System Design Engineer

Mobile Group is a leading Israeli tech company specializing in Cyber-Embedded, AI & Data Mining, IoT, and Automotive Tech.

We’re looking for a talented senior DS Designer to join our team and and lead the design infrastructure of the company’s products.

In this role, you will not only design components, but also define and evolve the design language and rules that enable design and development teams to work efficiently at scale. The position involves building, managing, and maintaining multiple Design Systems in parallel for complex, data-intensive products, while ensuring consistency, accessibility, and an uncompromising user experience.

What we’re looking for:

✔️3–4+ years of experience as a Product / UX-UI Designer, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience building and managing Design Systems.

✔️Tools Expertise: Advanced expertise in Figma, including library management, advanced prototyping, and Design Tokens.

✔️Familiarity with Penpot is a strong advantage.

✔️System Thinking: Strong ability to see the big picture and understand how small component changes impact entire systems.

✔️ Complex Systems Background: Proven experience designing complex Desktop / SaaS systems such as dashboards, data tables, and multi-step workflows.

✔️ Experience with monitoring and control systems is an advantage.

✔️ Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end concepts (e.g., React / Angular) is a significant plus.

✔️ Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English, with the ability to clearly document and explain design decisions.

✔️ Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
