Software Engineering Team Lead

This role combines hands-on backend expertise, technical leadership, and team management, within a modern Agile organization built around tribes and squads.

You’ll lead a team of backend developers focused on delivering innovative products across areas like business credit, foreign trade, CRM, and digital banking — ensuring high code quality, architectural excellence, and continuous team growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor the backend development, providing professional guidance, coaching, and hands-on support
• Plan, design, and develop microservice-based backend services using modern tools and frameworks
• Work with technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads: frontend, architecture, product, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Drive code quality, conduct peer reviews, and promote backend best practices and performance standards
• Participate in technical decision-making, tool selection, and framework adoption
• Balance delivery priorities with tech debt, team growth, and innovation

Requirements-

Must:

• 4+ years of hands-on backend development experience in complex systems
• 2+ years of as a Team Leader in a team structure
• Strong command of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with microservices architecture and messaging systems like Kafka or ActiveMQ
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and build tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Deep knowledge of RESTful API design and software design patterns
• Strong interpersonal skills, high accountability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience managing backend teams in a banking or regulated enterprise environment
• Hands-on exposure to cloud-native environments or containerized systems
