About The Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing and bringing to life our mechanical systems and enclosures – from early prototypes to full production.

This is a hands-on position with real ownership and meaningful impact on both the team and the company’s success.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop mechanical parts, enclosures and assemblies for both prototype and production-stage products
• Own the full mechanical development lifecycle: requirements → concept → CAD & drawings → BOM → manufacturing files → first builds → iterations and improvements
• Design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA) across multiple technologies including Sheet Metal, CNC, 3D Printing, Injection Molding and more
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners: file transfers, capability reviews, production questions, issue resolution, revisions and final approvals
• Build and maintain structured technical documentation: BOMs, revision control, ECO/ECN, assembly instructions (Box Build) and packaging notes
• Hands-on assembly and testing of prototypes, including mechanical adjustments, validation and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with R&D, hardware, operations and supply chain teams
  
  

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design / industrial engineering
• Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably for products that include electronics
• Strong hands-on mindset with attention to detail and a passion for building, testing and iterating
• Proficiency in CAD tools – preference for Onshape, with SolidWorks, Fusion or similar also acceptable
• Ability to produce manufacturing-ready drawings and documentation
• Ability to work fast, manage multiple interfaces and close open ends independently
• Strong communication skills and creative, practical problem-solving thinking
  
  

• Experience with thermal and airflow basics
• Familiarity with durability and mechanical robustness considerations
• Basic knowledge of compliance, standards or regulatory requirements
