Business Analyst (Fractional) - Fund Administration CRM

About the Role We're building a proprietary CRM for fund administration with automated reporting and compliance workflows. We need an experienced Business Analyst to bridge our fund operations expertise and development team.

What You'll Do

• Translate fund administration workflows into technical requirements and user stories
• Document processes for NAV calculations, investor reporting, and compliance
• Define acceptance criteria for fund structures, data models, and reports
• Validate features meet financial accuracy and regulatory standards
• Bridge communication between fund operations and developers.

Required Experience

• 3+ years as BA in financial services (fund administration, asset management, or investment operations preferred)
• Strong understanding of fund accounting, NAV calculations, and investor reporting
• Experience translating financial requirements into technical specifications
• Proficiency with requirements tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar)
• Excellent documentation skills

Highly Valued

• Experience with fund admin systems (FundCount, Geneva, Investran, eFront, Carta)
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting (AIFMD, SEC)
• Background in alternative investments (PE, VC, real estate)
• SQL knowledge and API integration understanding
