Junior Economist

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) is seeking a Junior Economist to join its Research Unit within the Trading, Derivatives and Indices Department.

About the Role

Support the day-to-day work of the Research Unit, including collecting, analyzing, and processing economic and financial data from multiple sources. Assist in writing research reviews and articles, and in preparing professional materials and presentations for TASE management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering & Management, Business Administration, or a related field – required.
• Master’s degree with a specialization in Finance – advantage.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with capital markets – required.
• Background or specialization in Information Systems – significant advantage.
• Knowledge of data analysis and data exploration tools.
• High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office – required.
• SQL and Python skills – significant advantage.
• Experience with statistical and/or mathematical analysis tools – advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, fast learner, high level of responsibility, and motivation for excellence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented mindset, and ability to work under pressure in a multitasking environment.

Preferred Skills

• Background or specialization in Information Systems – significant advantage.
• Experience with statistical and/or mathematical analysis tools – advantage.
