Quality Control Inspector - 3675

A defense-sector high-tech company located in central Israel is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector for the electronics field.

Job Description

• Establishment and leadership of quality control infrastructures: MRB, NCR, etc.
• Preparation of in-process inspection reports for operators, including detailed dimensions and characteristics to be inspected, tolerances, sampling quantities, and measuring tools.
• Performing final inspections/examinations of items manufactured by the company in accordance with engineering definitions.
• Conducting inspections and examinations of outgoing shipments.
• Responsibility for incoming inspection of parts manufactured by subcontractors and/or parts that have undergone special processes and are received by the company.
• Responsibility for managing the MRB process and documenting findings in the information system according to required inspection definitions, and reporting any rejections to Production Planning.
• Reporting to Quality and Production Managers on any recurring defects identified during inspection of in-house manufactured parts and supplier-received parts, including RMA management.
• Responsibility for performing SET-UP and FAI inspections and documenting findings in inspection reports.
• Reporting nonconformities in the information system for every item received from external procurement.
• Responsibility for managing measuring tools, monitoring their usability, and handling non-usable tools in accordance with company procedures.
• Responsibility for managing the quarantine (hold) warehouse.

Requirements

• Technician / Practical Engineer in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in inspection and quality control.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Understanding of technical documents released by Engineering.
• High-level English proficiency: reading, speaking, and writing technical documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to write documentation in Hebrew and English.
• Good interpersonal skills.
