Head of IT Infrastructure & Information Security

We are looking for a Head of IT Infrastructure & Information Security to join our Infrastructure & Cyber Security Department.

This is a key leadership role combining hands-on technical responsibility with professional team leadership, ownership of core IT infrastructures, and continuous improvement of the company’s security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Professional management and leadership of the System & Information Security team (task allocation, mentoring, performance oversight, employee development).
• End-to-end responsibility for organizational IT infrastructure: servers, virtualization, cloud environments, endpoints, and core services.
• Design and implementation of infrastructure architecture, standardization, and operational best practices.
• Management and operation of core Microsoft services: Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, Certificate Services.
• Administration of Microsoft 365 environment: Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams.
• Endpoint security and device management using Intune / SCCM.
• Leading system hardening processes, security controls implementation, vulnerability remediation, and enforcement of security policies.
• Handling complex incidents (P1/P2), improving service availability, and working with vendors and partners.
• Ownership and continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and operational routines.
• Leading cross-company infrastructure and security projects from design to delivery.

Mandatory Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a System / Infrastructure Engineer in a medium-to-large organization (1,000+ users) - Must
• Proven experience in team leadership or professional/technical leadership (Team Lead / Tech Lead) - Must
• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft environments: Active Directory, GPO, Microsoft 365 Administration, Intune, Azure ARC - Must
• Experience managing Windows and Linux servers - Must
• Practical experience working in Azure environments (IaaS / PaaS, Networking, Security) - Must
• Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, basic networking, and information security principles - Must
• Experience with Nutanix and/or VMware environments - Must
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, HYCU, or similar - Must
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in networking and security technologies (Firewall, Proxy, NAC, Mail Gateway) - Must
• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) - Must
