Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated IT professional with a strong focus on cyber security. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on environment, tackles complex technical challenges, and works independently. This role sits at the intersection of core IT infrastructure and advanced cyber security practices.

Key Responsibilities

IT & Security Operations

Execute, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and security solutions for internal environments and client sites.

Customer Engagement

Collaborate with Defense sector clients to implement and support critical IT and cyber security projects, including on-site work requiring a high level of professionalism and accountability.

Internal Initiatives

Lead and contribute to internal IT and cyber security projects, including systems hardening, policy implementation, and network security improvements.

System Administration

Administer and maintain operating systems, local domain environments, Group Policies, and security configurations.

Networking

Configure and maintain network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) and implement best-practice network communication and security protocols.

Virtualization

Design, deploy, manage and secure virtualized environments.

Vulnerability Management

Identify, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities across internal and client infrastructures.

Must-Have Requirements

Proven hands-on experience in IT systems administration with a strong emphasis on information and cyber security.

Deep knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and local domain environments (e.g., Active Directory, GPOs).

Strong expertise in network communications and network security products (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS).

Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in the Defense or Security industry.

Active security clearance (advantage).
