IT and Information Systems Manager

Position Overview

The IT Manager will lead the strategic and operational management of the company’s information technology infrastructure, systems, and services. This role ensures that the IT environment is secure, scalable, and aligned with the business goals of a rapidly evolving telecommunications organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership and vendor management experience.

Reports to VP of Operations

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily IT Operations

• Work on daily IT operations, including PC administration, user support, office network management, and helpdesk activities.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and continuous improvement of support processes.
• Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence within the IT team.
• Hands-on to the IL office

2. IT Management

• Manage user access, identity, and authentication systems across all business units.
• Supervise administration and support of company applications and tools.

3. Security and Compliance

• Participate in security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.
• Develop and implement IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal security protocols, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate incident response and recovery efforts when required.

4. Vendor and License Management

• Manage relationships with external IT vendors, service providers, and telecom partners.
• Oversee procurement, negotiation, and renewal of software licenses, hardware contracts, and support agreements.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).

4. Capacity Planning and Budgeting

• Lead capacity planning for IT resources to ensure scalability and performance of systems in line with business growth.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost optimization and effective allocation of resources.
• Forecast and monitor IT expenditures, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.

6. Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the company’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead IT transformation initiatives, including modernization, automation, and cloud adoption where applicable.
• Provide technical and strategic guidance to senior management on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience in network and systems management, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure planning.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, and IT service delivery frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
