Field Operations Technician

We are seeking physically capable, technically competent blue-collar personnel to join the field operations team supporting the installation, commissioning, and operational support of hydrogen electrolysers and associated power supply units (PSUs).
The role will focus on supporting our clients and their subcontractors during project delivery phases, including utility hookups, rigging, mechanical and electrical works, and basic troubleshooting tasks on site.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the mechanical and electrical installation of hydrogen electrolysers and respective power supply systems.
• Support site engineers and commissioning teams with cable pulling, conduit installation, bolting, fastening, and alignment of components.
• Carry out physical rigging, handling, and positioning of equipment under supervision.
• Conduct daily checks and support the energisation process of equipment, under guidance from certified personnel.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and repairs during equipment setup or post-commissioning.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas, adhering to all site-specific health and safety protocols.
• Participate in routine preventative maintenance activities (filter changes, coolant top-ups, inspections).
• Follow all instructions from the field supervisor and record field notes and issues during the day’s work.
• Support the team during load testing, commissioning runs, and fault-finding procedures.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to lock-out/tag-out procedures and other safety regulations.
• Provide feedback and updates to site leadership on progress, delays, or technical issues. • Remain available for shift work, weekend duties (including Friday work), and occasional extended hours as required by project schedules.

Qualifications and Competencies
• Minimum high school diploma or vocational training certificate (technical/electrical/mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in industrial field work, power systems, or hydrogen/renewable energy installation.
• Basic knowledge of DC/AC electrical systems, control panels, and safety protocols.
• Capable of using basic hand tools, lifting gear, rigging equipment, and electrical testing devices under supervision.
• Strong physical stamina – ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in outdoor environments for long periods.
• Demonstrated awareness of safety rules and previous work in high-risk industrial environments. • Ability to read simple technical drawings or layout plans is an advantage.
• Hebrew and/or English communication skills (basic spoken and written) required
• Team player with strong work ethic, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward tasks. Preferred but Not Essential • Certification in basic electrical safety or confined space work.
• Familiarity with hydrogen technology, electrolyser systems, or industrial gas equipment.
• Forklift, crane operator, or elevated work platform license. Working Conditions
• Site-based role in Kyriat Gat – working outdoors and indoors on an active industrial site. • Work may be conducted under high voltage, confined spaces, or heavy equipment areas. • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including shift rotations and weekend availability.
