VP Product

On behalf of a fast-scaling high-tech company, we are conducting an executive search for a VP Product to lead the company’s product organization during a period of significant growth.

The company operates at scale, develops a core product for developers, and has recently completed a substantial funding round to support accelerated global expansion. This role is a key member of the executive leadership team, with broad ownership over product strategy, execution, and organizational leadership.

Position Overview

The VP Product will be responsible for shaping the long-term product vision and translating it into a clear, executable roadmap aligned with business objectives. The role includes leadership of a product organization of approximately 15 professionals, including two Directors, and responsibility for evolving the product function to support continued scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the company’s product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap
• Lead, mentor, and scale a product organization of ~15, including senior product leaders
• Establish strong product governance, prioritization frameworks, and execution processes
• Partner closely with the Co-founders and executive team on company strategy and growth initiatives
• Work in close alignment with Engineering, R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
• Ensure product decisions are grounded in customer insight, market dynamics, and business impact
• Drive alignment across stakeholders in a complex, fast-growing environment
• Represent the product function at the executive and board levels, as required

Candidate Profile

• Senior product leader with experience operating at VP level or equivalent in a scaling technology company
• Strong background in developer-facing products, platforms, or technical ecosystems
• Demonstrated experience managing senior product leadership, including Directors
• Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution
• High level of business acumen and experience working closely with executive leadership
• Excellent communication and influence skills in cross-functional and executive settings

Preferred Experience

• Background in B2B SaaS, developer platforms, or infrastructure-oriented products
• Experience joining a company post-funding and supporting rapid scale
• Exposure to global markets and distributed teams
