Role

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Team Lead to take full ownership of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. In this role, you will lead the DevOps team and grow it over time while remaining hands-on, driving the design, automation, scalability, security, and reliability of our production systems. You will work closely with R&D, product, and engineering teams to build robust infrastructure, evolve our CI/CD and Kubernetes platforms, and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.

• Lead and mentor the DevOps team while remaining hands-on with infrastructure and tooling.
• Own the design, automation, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and configuration management tools.
• Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Manage and scale Kubernetes environments using Docker and Helm.
• Oversee AWS cloud environments, ensuring security best practices and cost efficiency.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with R&D and engineering teams to improve delivery and DevOps practices.
• Drive documentation, standards, and continuous process improvement.
  
  

• 4+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, including leadership or ownership of production systems.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud services in production environments.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
• Deep experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Solid Linux knowledge and scripting skills (Bash, Python).
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex systems.
• Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally.
• Ability to lead multiple initiatives, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  
  

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
• Experience provisioning and operating relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
• Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus & Grafana.
• Experience working with Kafka or distributed messaging systems.
