ILS Engineer

A leading defense company is seeking an experienced ILS Engineer to join large-scale, multidisciplinary defense projects.

This role involves end-to-end responsibility for Integrated Logistics Support activities within complex projects, working closely with engineering, project management, logistics, procurement, and customers in Israel and abroad.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Define and manage ILS packages, including maintenance concepts, spare parts, technical documentation, support equipment, and training
• Prepare and manage ILS technical documentation, including ILSP and customer support documents
• Coordinate ILS activities with project managers, engineering, procurement, logistics, and quality teams
• Interface with internal and external customers, subcontractors, and suppliers, both locally and internationally
• Support maintenance, repair, and sustainment activities, including follow-up on deliveries and service projects
• Work with SAP and customer service portals: service requests, customer orders, material issuance and receipt
• Monitor repairs, spare parts, and maintenance activities, including tracking items sent to subcontractors
• Participate in customer meetings, reviews, and support activities, including on-site work and training coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – mandatory
• Proven experience in ILS and customer-facing roles – mandatory
• Strong command of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Background in maintenance of defense systems, preferably airborne systems – advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and ability to work independently
• Willingness to work in a project-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
