Senior Back End Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer who writes clean, maintainable code and understands how to design scalable systems. You’ll work heavily with NestJS, TypeScript, and modern architectural patterns, contributing to a microservices-based platform that supports our growing product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Build backend services and APIs using NestJS and TypeScript.

Apply SOLID principles and best engineering practices to create modular, high-quality systems.

Design, implement, and maintain microservices architecture with strong focus on scalability, resilience, and performance.

Collaborate with DevOps, product, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features.

Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services.

Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, agents) to improve development speed and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with NestJS and TypeScript.

Deep understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture patterns.

Proven experience designing and building microservices in production environments.

Good understanding of distributed systems, message brokers, API gateways, and async communication.

Some experience with Angular or general frontend development.

Familiarity with modern AI development assistants (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, coding agents).

Solid knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.

Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).

Nice-to-Have

Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).

Cloud experience (AWS preferred).

Understanding of CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Performance optimization and profiling skills.

Experience working with design systems and API ation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
