Information Systems Application Developer

The Computing and Cyber Division at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is seeking an experienced and motivated Information Systems Application Developer to join the Information Systems Department.

In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain enterprise information systems supporting a wide range of administrative and organizational processes across the university. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and participate in the full application lifecycle-from development and integration to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

You’ll develop services, APIs, and system integrations with internal and external platforms, work extensively with databases and data processes, and contribute to the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of the university’s core information systems.

You’ll also support system rollouts and adoption, assist users during implementation, and take part in large-scale information systems projects, including the modernization and migration of core enterprise systems.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in software or information systems development
• Experience working with databases and SQL / PL/SQL
• Experience with programming technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and APIs
• Strong teamwork skills and a service-oriented mindset
