Founding Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

The founding team is building a system that understands complex blueprints using Computer Vision and LLMs

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll help shape the architecture and ship core systems

• Design and implement backend services bridging AI models and product features
• Work with GeoJSON / spatial data (processing, querying, optimization)
• Integrate LLM based components (MCPs and other APIs)
• Collaborate with ML and Frontend on deployment, scalability, and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable Python in a fast paced Seed stage environment

Must have requirements:

• 5-7 years of backend experience with Python (FastAPI or similar)
• Background spanning both startup speed and in large tech companies
• Experience in an established software company
• Experience with a major cloud provider: AWS / GCP / Azure
• Strong “builder” mindset: ownership, execution, and problem solving from scratch

Nice to haves:

• Experience with GeoJSON / spatial databases
• LLM integration / inference APIs / model serving systems
• Hands on with Docker and testing practices
• Proven experience designing and deploying APIs / backend systems
