DevOps Engineer

A highly profitable and successful Data-AI company that empowers mobile application developers to reach their most relevant audiences. Using sophisticated AI and predictive algorithms, the platform analyzes massive data streams (tens of TBs daily) in real-time to forecast user intent.

The company maintains a lean, elite engineering culture focused on high-scale performance.

Located in Tel Aviv (near the train station), operating a hybrid model with two days per week from home.

Role Overview-

• Serving as the first and sole Senior DevOps Engineer in the organization with cross-functional strategic impact.
• Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering and taking full ownership of the DevOps domain.
• Supporting R&D and Data Science teams while establishing organizational best practices.
• Designing and scaling a robust AWS/Kubernetes environment to handle massive Big Data workloads.
• Leading CI/CD strategies, monitoring, security protocols, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Executing cross-organizational projects that directly influence system stability, scalability, and efficiency.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering, preferably in high-scale data environments.
• Deep expertise in AWS ecosystem and Kubernetes management.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Mastery of Linux environments and scripting/automation using Python.
• Proven experience managing high-throughput data infrastructures (S3, SQS, SNS, RDS).
• Advantage: Familiarity with SageMaker, Aerospike, or Upsolver.
• Advantage: Previous experience as a solo DevOps engineer or a founding team member.
• Strong architectural vision and the ability to lead technical domains independently.
