Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Field Engineer to support Sensorz’s product deployment, field testing, and customer implementations. This is a hands-on technical role combining RF/system knowledge, practical fieldwork, and customer-facing execution. The Field Engineer will play a key role in collecting high-quality real-world data, validating system performance, and leading on-site installations and trials with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Field Testing & Data Collection

• Plan and execute field measurement campaigns for RF data collection and system validation.
• Operate Sensorz systems, RF sensors, and test equipment in real operational environments.
• Ensure high-quality, well-documented datasets for internal R&D and AI model training.
• Analyse basic system behaviour in the field and report findings to R&D and product teams.

Customer Implementation & Support

• Lead on-site deployment, configuration, and commissioning of Sensorz solutions.
• Serve as technical lead during pilots, POCs, and system rollouts with customers.
• Train customer technical teams on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Provide second-line technical support for complex field issues.
• Role require ability for frequent fly abroad

System Integration & Validation

• Validate system performance against technical and operational requirements.
• Support integration of Sensorz systems with customer infrastructure (IT, networks, sensors).
• Collaborate with product, RF, and software teams to close feedback loops from the field.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• 3+ years in field engineering, system integration, RF systems, defence spectrum monitoring/ SIGINT/ELINT, or similar environments.
• Practical Engineering in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field (BSc, an advantage)

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with RF systems, sensors, or communication equipment.
• Familiarity with spectrum analysers, SDRs, or RF measurement tools – strong advantage.
• Basic understanding of RF concepts: spectrum, modulation, interference, noise.
• hands-on experience with IP networking: switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, routing, and basic security concepts.​
• Practical experience working in a Linux environment (installation, basic administration, shell, log analysis, services).​
• Experience in system installation, configuration, and field troubleshooting.
