Senior Analytical Chemist – Agricultural Industry (South Israel) 3650

A growing company in the agricultural sector is looking for a Senior Analytical Chemist to join a small, hands-on analytical laboratory.

This role combines advanced analytical work with full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the analytical lab. It is ideal for an experienced analytical chemist who enjoys working independently, taking ownership, and staying close to the bench.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing using advanced instrumentation (GC-MS, HPLC, LC-MS).
• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods.
• Interpret results, prepare reports, and support internal and external customers.
• Take full responsibility for analytical laboratory operations, including:

Inventory management and consumables

Purchasing and vendor coordination

Equipment maintenance and service coordination

General lab organization and compliance

Work closely with internal and external partners.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Proven hands-on experience with GC-MS / HPLC / LC-MS.
• Experience in method development and validation – advantage.
• Experience in plant-related or agricultural analysis – strong advantage.
• Highly hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a small lab environment.
• Strong communication skills and service-oriented mindset.
