The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for the design, development, and innovation of camera hardware for all related Apple products. Description

Investigate forward-looking technology, features and silicon for camera hardware;nDefine electrical interface requirements and architecture;nSchematic creation, including an image sensor, low-noise power supply, AF/OIS driver, and high-speed interfaces, etc;nSupervise and review layout design for substrate, flex and PCB;nInteract with the product team to ensure good implementation for system integration; nClose collaboration with peer teams for system level performance optimization;

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years relevant experience.nExpertise in electronic design, including component selection and schematic creationnBroad experience with both analog and digital circuits, e.g. small signal conditioning, low noise power supply, high-speed and serial control interfaces.nStrong knowledge of layout strategies, stack-up planning, EMI minimization, signal integrity and noise suppression.nHands-on - Comfort and ability to use all types of electronic test equipments, e.g. oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, VNA, etc..n RF experience - Antenna measurements, EMI/RFI measurements - AdvantagenCapable of managing different projects in parallel.nGreat interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of CMOS image sensor, ISP or image processing is desirablenExperience in using Matlab or other simulation tools is a plusnOccasional travel will be requirednBS/MS in Electrical Engineering or industrial experience equivalent.
