The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, customer-facing BI Developer to own analytics end-to-end - from raw production data to dashboards that CFOs, investment teams, and operators trust.

You’ll work closely with customers, Product, CS, and Founders to turn platform data into mission-critical reports, owning the full lifecycle from metric definition to delivery.

This is not a back-office role - you’ll directly work with clients and shape how customers understand and trust their portfolios in Hypercore.

What You'll Do

• Partner directly with customers to understand reporting needs, pain points, and the decisions they need to support.
• Translate business requirements into clear metric definitions and lightweight reporting specs (dimensions, filters, cadence, stakeholders).
• Build, maintain, and iterate on dashboards and reports using Hypercore platform data.
• Map reporting requirements to the correct underlying data and identify when new fields or structures should be added to the product.
• Own data quality for customer-facing reporting, including validation, reconciliations, and ongoing accuracy.
• Identify common patterns across customers and convert them into reusable, multi-client reporting templates and analytics components.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to improve and scale Hypercore’s reporting capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or a similar data-focused role.
• Experience with BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Solid understanding of financial data is an advantage (loans, interest, schedules, cashflows - accounting literacy matters)
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience building production dashboards.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup with partial specs
