The Role
We’re looking for a Tech Lead to own and drive core backend and platform systems at Corsa.
This is a hands-on role: you’ll design architecture, write production code, and set engineering standards - while mentoring engineers and shaping how the system evolves.
You’ll work closely with product, security, and leadership to build systems that are fast, reliable, and regulator-ready.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience, including ownership of production systems
- Strong experience with Node.js / TypeScript (or deep backend experience and willingness to switch)
- Proven experience designing distributed systems and APIs
- Solid understanding of databases (Postgres, analytical DBs, graphs - at least one deeply)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), CI/CD, and production operations
- Strong system design skills and ability to reason about trade-offs
- Natural technical leader - people trust your decisions and follow your lead
