Role Overview:

• Developing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions for Space-based Edge Computing platforms.
• Working at the intersection of high-performance computing and satellite technology using C++ and Python.
• Designing robust software architectures and design patterns optimized for space environments.
• Building and deploying containerized applications for distributed, resource-constrained systems.
• Collaborating with Data Engineering teams to optimize data flow from space to ground.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Python and C++ in production environments.
• Strong foundation in Software Architecture principles and Design Patterns.
• Expertise in Containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
• Practical experience with Edge Computing or Distributed Systems.
• Solid understanding of Data Engineering concepts.
• High-level technical problem-solving skills for complex, non-standard environments.
• Ability to undergo a Security Clearance process – Mandatory.
