Data Scientist

A successful Israeli AI startup, recently acquired by a leading global corporation specializing in Analytics and AI. The company develops a cutting-edge platform that combines intelligent flight price prediction with a dynamic flexibility engine, allowing for real-time adjustments and cancellations.

Founded by elite veterans with extensive backgrounds in Cyber and AI, the platform serves over 60 of the world’s largest online travel agencies and management companies.

Following the acquisition, the company is significantly expanding its operations.

Employs dozens of employees and is located in the Central District (near the train station), operating a hybrid work model with two days per week from home.

Role Overview:

• Part of the Data Science team within the Research department, responsible for end-to-end ML models.
• Handling all research stages through to production, including data collection, monitoring, and performance evaluation.
• Working with massive datasets (tens to hundreds of millions of records) primarily involving tabular and textual data.
• Utilizing advanced methodologies such as Boosting algorithms, Reinforcement Learning, and Causal Inference.
• Focusing on high-impact tasks: Classification, Regression, Prediction, EDA, Training, and Inference.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in a scientific or quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, etc.).
• 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Proven experience in end-to-end Machine Learning research and development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and ML/DL libraries.
• Experience working on large-scale datasets (High Scale/Big Data).
• Strong background in monitoring and improving model performance in production.
