The Role

We are looking for a foundational team member to be the architect of our core company formation service. You will be the go-to expert for everything related to forming and maintaining a US company. Your primary responsibility will be to take your deep legal knowledge and use it to design a smooth, automated, and user-friendly formation process for our customers.

This is a hands-on role that combines legal expertise with a passion for technology and product design.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Formation Process: You will be fully responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of our company formation services from start to finish.

• Design & Automate Workflows: Map out and build the automated steps for filing LLCs and C-Corps, obtaining EINs, and handling other essential compliance tasks.

• Be the Expert: Serve as the internal authority on all US company formation topics. If a customer or team member has a question about LLCs, C-Corps, registered agents, or state filings, you’ll have the answer.

• Improve the Product: Work directly with the founder to translate complex legal requirements into a simple and intuitive product experience.

• Leverage Technology: Use AI, no-code tools, and modern software to make our operations as efficient as possible.

What You Absolutely Need

• Deep Expertise in US Company Formation: This is the most critical requirement. You must have significant hands-on experience and a thorough understanding of:

• LLC vs. C-Corp Structures: You know the differences, pros, and cons for various founder types.

• State Filing Processes: You have direct experience with the step-by-step process of filing formation documents, especially in key states like Delaware and Wyoming.

• IRS & Federal Requirements: You are familiar with obtaining an Employer Identification Number (EIN) and other federal filings like the Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report.

• Core Compliance: You understand the role of a Registered Agent and the importance of post-formation documents like Operating Agreements and Bylaws.

• A Process-Oriented Mindset: You are excellent at breaking down complex legal processes into clear, logical steps.

• Tech-Savvy Attitude: You are comfortable learning and using new software. You don’t need to be a coder, but you’re the type of person who enjoys finding clever ways to automate your work.

• Strong English Communication: You can clearly explain complex legal topics in simple terms, both in writing and verbally.
