Information Technology System Specialist

About the role:

A leading medical center is seeking an experienced Data/BI Systems Analyst to join its data innovation team. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge analytics and AI/ML initiatives in the healthcare sector — shaping data solutions that directly impact clinical decision-making and operational excellence.

In this role, you will analyze business and technical requirements, design data models, and write functional and technical specifications for BI solutions, data interfaces, and AI/ML models. You will work closely with development teams, BI experts, data scientists, clinical professionals, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

·Analyze and define business and technical needs from clinical, operational, and management departments.

·Write functional and technical specification documents (Source to Target) for Data infrastructures and AI/ML models.

·Perform data modeling to support analytical solutions and smart applications.

·Collaborate with Data Science and Machine Learning teams to implement AI models and products.

·Define and design data-driven decision-support tools (dashboards, KPIs, etc.).

·Conduct feasibility assessments and align data structures with AI/ML project requirements.

·Contribute to the creation of BI tools and large-scale data analysis solutions.

·Work closely with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with medical regulations and data security standards.

Requirements:

·2–4 years of experience as a Systems Analyst in the Data/BI domain – must.

·Proven experience writing functional and technical specifications for BI/Data solutions – must.

·Strong background in Data Modeling for BI or analytical systems – must.

·Experience with AI/ML data processes – a significant advantage.

·Proficiency in SQL – must.

·Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar BI platforms – a plus.

·Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration – an advantage.

·Previous experience with healthcare information systems or the healthtech industry – a strong advantage.

·Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

·Strong analytical and system-thinking abilities, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
