We’re growing fast - and we’re now looking for an Creative Marketing Manager to help us scale, build strong foundations, and keep our team running smoothly.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Creative Marketing Manager to own all creative aspects of VYBS app marketing - from strategy and concept to production, iteration, and scaling. You’ll turn performance insights, brand direction, and product value into sharp briefs, strong creative concepts, and high-performing assets across channels.
You’ll manage production through external creators, editors, freelancers, and/or agencies, but you also need a design background and hands-on skills in video or static creative - enough to create quick mockups, improve assets, and communicate direction with clarity and taste.
What You’ll Do
- Own creative direction across paid, organic, app store, and key brand touch points - keeping messaging and visual language consistent and performance-driven.
- Lead the UA creative pipeline end-to-end: idea → brief → production → feedback → iteration → scale.
- Develop and test creative angles, hooks, scripts, and concepts tailored to performance channels (Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube—depending on the mix).
- Write clear, performance-driven creative briefs (goal, audience, insight, angle, formats, deliverables, specs, timelines, and success metrics).
- Manage external production: source and manage creators/vendors, align timelines, ensure quality, and maintain clean asset organization + versioning.
- Provide fast, direct, actionable feedback on all creative assets.
- Jump in hands-on when needed: create basic edits or mockups (static or video) to speed up iteration and improve quality.
- Partner closely with Growth/UA to translate data into next iterations (new hooks, new formats, new concepts) and scale winners.
- Use AI tools and workflows to accelerate ideation, scripting, variations, and production—without compromising quality or brand consistency.
Must-haves
- 3–6+ years experience in performance creative / UA creative for mobile apps (gaming or consumer apps preferred).
- Strong understanding of what drives creative performance: hook rate, retention, pacing, clarity, CTA, and testing methodology.
- Proven experience producing and scaling UGC-style ads and collaborating with creators/editors.
- Proven ability to run production with external teams
- Design background with basic hands-on skills in either video or static creative (enough to create mockups, iterate quickly, and communicate direction).
- Excellent briefing and feedback skills - you elevate output quickly and consistently.
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted creative workflows (prompting, rapid variations, tooling, process design).
Tools & Skills (Examples)
- Creative: Figma, Adobe CC, After Effects/Premiere (or equivalent)
- Project management: Notion / Monday / Asana / Jira
- AI workflows: ChatGPT + image/video gen tools, prompt iteration, creative automation, asset versioning
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with App Store / Google Play creative (screenshots, preview videos) and conversion principles.
