LLM Engineer (AI)

Founded by experienced serial entrepreneurs with a history of successful exits, the company is currently in an elite, early-stage phase with significant funding.

Located in Tel Aviv area (near the train station), they operate a hybrid work model with one day per week from home. This is a foundational role with substantial influence on architecture and company culture.

Role Overview:

• Joining as a core team member to build Agentic AI Production Systems from the ground up.
• Designing and deploying AI Agents featuring reasoning chains, tool orchestration, planning loops, and autonomous task execution.
• Building the engineering infrastructure for LLM agents, including evaluation frameworks, observability, and production monitoring.
• Rapid prototyping of new AI techniques in a fast-paced, high-impact startup environment.
• Owning the architecture and performance of scalable, distributed systems.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Backend engineering experience designing and maintaining highly scalable, distributed systems (API design and Microservices).
• 3+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with a proven track record of deploying and maintaining systems in production.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs, specifically agentic workflows, prompt engineering, tool-calling, and autonomous agent design patterns.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to thrive in an early-stage environment and influence technical strategy.
