Lead System Engineer

We are looking for a Lead System Engineer to lead the development of advanced airborne armament systems within the Missile and Space Systems Division.

The position includes:

• Accompanying the system from early design through operational readiness
• Defining development plans and managing system-level requirements
• Defining system architecture and performing detailed system design
• Writing system requirements documents, design documents, and test documents
• Leading systems engineering processes throughout development, including system testing in Israel
• Coordinating between multiple engineering disciplines involved in system development, including avionics, aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical design, performance, control, dynamics, propulsion, structures, and materials
• Participating in activities in Israel and abroad, including integration, test preparation, test execution, and analysis
• Investigating system issues and proposing system-level solutions using creative thinking
• Planning, executing, analyzing results, and preparing investigation reports and presentations

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering — required
• At least 5 years of experience as a systems engineer in a multidisciplinary project — required
• Previous experience in the development of airborne systems — an advantage
• Familiarity with complex systems
