How you will make an impact:

• Establish and lead a high-performing software development team while driving successful delivery of complex projects.
• Plan, direct and develop innovative software products and services that enhance existing and future Edwards products. Lead in identifying risk, developing complex mitigation strategies, best practices, alternative solutions, resolving issues in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams while influencing stakeholder strategies
• Manage subordinate team members and software development activities with overall responsibility of staffing, planning, budgeting, managing expense priorities, performance management, and working through managers to achieve results
• Serve as an advisory role for software development in identifying new unmet clinical needs and parameters for advancing EW in future business needs
• Set the strategic direction of software development
• Influence best in practice global use of technology in partnership with stakeholders (e.g., Corporate IT, Cyber Security) with complimentary technologies.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in software development and project management
• People Leadership experience with track record of leading high‑performing teams, including effectively leading managers
• Experience in multinational corporates, operating within large, complex organizational structures
• Ability to coach, mentor, and manage teams, including full employee lifecycle responsibilities
• Experience as a Product Lead SW and HW – Advantage
• Experienced in vision processing, ML and LLM - Advantage
• Demonstrated track record in people management and team leadership
• Experience with medical device development and compliance standards
• Experience with cloud-based systems and cybersecurity
• Strategic partnership with senior leaders across business units and regions

• Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with sound judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Deep understanding of software development processes
