A fast-growing technology company developing advanced medical robotic systems is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join the core R&D team.

This role is part of the heart of the product and involves developing software for a complex physical system that directly supports life-saving medical procedures.

About the Role

• Lead and develop software for a combined Embedded + PC system
• Take responsibility for system architecture and multi-controller environments
• Hands-on development in C and C++ for embedded processors
• Work with communication protocols and real-time systems
• Integrate multiple subsystems including motors, sensors, communication, and user interfaces
• Read and understand hardware schematics to ensure smooth HW-SW integration
• Collaborate closely with hardware, mechanical, and regulatory teams
• Participate in requirements definition, testing, validation, and documentation
• Work in a small startup environment with broad responsibility and high impact

Job requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Embedded software development
• Strong hands-on experience with C and C++
• Experience working with microcontrollers, preferably STM32
• Broad system-level understanding combining hardware and software
• Ability to read and understand hardware schematics
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently

Education

BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
