PLR Information Systems is looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join us in a key role as a Lead Hardware Engineer, taking full technical ownership of advanced electronic systems for the defense and aerospace markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead hardware development end-to-end (Requirements → Design → Bring-up → Testing → Production)

• Technical ownership of complex electronic boards and systems

• Make architectural and design decisions and support the product throughout its lifecycle

• Work closely with software, mechanical, QA, manufacturing, and suppliers

• Provide engineering support during integration and customer activities

Required Knowledge & Experience:

• B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering

• Several years of hands-on experience in hardware development of complex systems

• Experience with digital board design (CPU/SoC, DDR, Ethernet, PCIe – advantage)

• Solid understanding of power supply design and power integrity

• Board bring-up, debugging, and failure analysis experience

• Experience with CAD tools (OrCAD or similar)

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, testing• Strong ability to read and analyze datasheets and technical documentation

Strong Advantages:

• Experience with defence and/or aerospace systems

• Familiarity with MIL-STD

• Experience working with subcontractors and serial production

• System-level thinking and technical leadership capabilities
