Machine Learning Engineer

A well-established Israeli Fintech startup developing an AI and Big Data platform that maps the "financial internet" to assist governments and tax authorities in uncovering money laundering networks.

The company has completed a significant Round B from leading VCs and is poised for substantial growth.

Employs dozens of employees and is located in Tel Aviv (near the train station), operating a hybrid work model with one day per week from home.

Role Overview:

• Joining a newly formed AI team to develop and deploy end-to-end AI/ML systems in production.
• Focusing on LLMs, Autonomous Agents, and RAG architectures.
• Designing and optimizing pipelines for Information Extraction, Reasoning, and Classification of unstructured data (Social Media, Documents, etc.).
• Working with VectorDBs and LLM Orchestration Frameworks to integrate external knowledge sources and APIs.
• Utilizing a cutting-edge stack: Python, LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI/Gemini, Pinecone, and Knowledge Graphs.

Requirements:

• 5 years of hands-on experience with Python in data-heavy environments.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML or Data Science, with a strong focus on LLMs and NLP.
• Proven experience building systems using orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Practical experience with Agent-based architectures and/or RAG pipelines.
• Strong skills in integrating APIs, vector search, or knowledge graphs.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• A passion for staying current with the latest LLM developments and open-source tools.
