API Gateway Technician

We are recruiting an API Gateway Technician for a public organization located in central Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Work with API Gateway systems in a large public organization, including ongoing management and maintenance
• Implement secure API Gateway solutions
• Monitor API traffic, identify threats, and provide real-time response
• Build automation processes to support API operations
• Improve system performance while ensuring high availability and compliance with security standards and regulations
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Development teams

Requirements:

• Two years of experience working in public cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with API Gateway solutions such as: APIM, DataPower, or Connect API
• Familiarity with security protocols such as: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and communication protocols such as HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP
• Experience working with testing and monitoring tools such as: Postman, SOAPUI, Wireshark, and Git
• Knowledge in API security risk analysis, integration with Identity Management systems, and working with API traffic management and monitoring tools
