Senior Product Designer & Team Lead

Apomedical is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Senior Product Designer & Team Lead. With 5+ years of experience, you will design intuitive, scalable, and user-centered digital experiences while helping shape our design culture. You will bridge the gap between high-level product strategy and hands-on execution, ensuring our web and mobile platforms drive measurable business outcomes.

As a Senior UX/UI Product Designer - Team Lead, you will:

• Manage and mentor the career growth of 5 mid-level designers.
• Guide the design process and promote best practices in craft and collaboration.
• Identify friction in work processes and actively lead efforts to improve how design, product, and engineering work together.
• Lead hands-on discovery to identify user pain points and translate insights into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and oversee the transition from initial wireframes to polished, developer-ready UI.
• Validate design decisions using behavioral data, usability testing, and stakeholder feedback to iterate rapidly.
• Contribute to and evolve our Design System to ensure visual and functional consistency across all touchpoints.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Developers, Content writers and Data Analysts to ensure design precision through the entire sprint lifecycle.

To be successful in this role, you need:

• 5+ years as a Product Designer, ideally within a fast-paced tech or startup environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design, complex user journeys, dashboards, or mobile apps that solve real-world problems.
• Deep understanding of Design Thinking, Lean UX, and how to balance user needs with business goals.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
• A solid understanding of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and how your designs translate to code (HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus).
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with tools like Hotjar, Mixpanel, Clarity or Google Analytics.
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile frameworks.
• Experience in managing a team of product designers.
