Senior Backend Tech Lead

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who treats Generative AI and automation as a core part of their workflow. In this role, you will take ownership of the development of AI-integrated products and work on high-impact projects within a dynamic engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, high-performance, and maintainable backend code.
• Ensure projects meet business objectives and high coding standards.
• Support the deployment and testing of new products and features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Design and implement APIs and integrations with major third-party platforms.
• Optimize application performance through code profiling and refactoring.
• Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of Backend Software development experience.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining web applications.
• Daily hands-on use of AI development tools and emerging technologies.
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and microservices architecture.
• Bonus: Technical or team lead experience in a hands-on capacity.

Required Skills

• Professional fluency in both Hebrew and English (written and verbal).
• Strong collaborative mindset and team-player attitude.
• Ability to break down complex projects into actionable milestones.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Preferred Skills

• Technical or team lead experience in a hands-on capacity.

Pay range and compensation package according to experience and industry standards

Location: This position is based out of our Jerusalem or Tel-Aviv offices and reports to the Dev Team Lead.
