We’re looking for a Mechanical Procurement Buyer to join a leading manufacturing company in the defense industry.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end management of procurement for machined and assembled mechanical parts in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements

• Leading and managing long-term relationships with subcontractors and manufacturing suppliers, including supplier selection, evaluation, and development

• Leading complex commercial negotiations, contract closure, and cost reduction initiatives

• Managing and monitoring adherence to critical delivery schedules, handling supply deviations, and driving solutions

• Responsibility for coordinating complementary manufacturing processes: painting, coating, special treatments, and dimensional inspections

• Ongoing work with PRIORITY ERP system – procurement planning, purchase orders, tracking, and control

• Close collaboration with engineering, production, and quality departments

• Providing professional support and cross-organizational leadership in mechanical procurement topics

Job Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a Mechanical Procurement Buyer

• Proven experience in purchasing machined and assembled parts

• Strong technical understanding with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings at a high level

• Experience working with subcontractors and industrial manufacturing processes

• Proven experience in leading complex commercial negotiations

• Proficiency with the PRIORITY ERP system – a significant advantage

• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
