Computer Vision Engineer

About the Role

We are building a small, elite engineering team operating at the intersection of UAVs, electro-optical systems, autonomy, and advanced sensing technologies.

The team operates as part of a global technology group active in the fields of unmanned systems and electro-optics, with proven capabilities spanning system development, integration, testing, and deployment in real-world environments.

This setting enables engineers to work on complex, end-to-end systems that must perform reliably under demanding field conditions.

We are looking for a Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer with a system-oriented mindset, capable of developing and integrating perception capabilities into real, operational platforms.

• Develop algorithms for UAV and electro-optical systems
• Implement object detection, tracking, locking, and visual navigation capabilities
• Design and optimize EO/IR image and video processing pipelines
• Work on GPS-denied positioning, visual anchoring, and stabilization
• Integrate algorithms with embedded platforms, sensors, and flight controllers
• Optimize real-time performance on edge devices
• Testing, tuning, and validation in laboratory and field environments
• Ongoing research to keep up-to-date with technology

• 4+ years of experience in algorithm and computer vision development
• Strong background in image and video processing
• Experience with object detection and tracking pipelines
• Familiarity with EO/IR sensors and multi-sensor systems
• Experience deploying algorithms on embedded or edge platforms
• Proficiency in Python and C++
• Experience with deep learning frameworks and model optimization
• System-level thinking and a practical engineering mindset

• Experience with visual SLAM or visual odometry
• Familiarity with UAV systems or robotic platforms
• Experience working in real-world, operational environments
