Founding Deep Learning Engineer AI-lab

We’re looking for a Founding AI Engineer to join a small, elite team building a deep AI Lab, focused on training domain-specific foundation models and LLMs.

This is a hands-on, core technical role for someone who wants to work on the hardest problems in AI: model training, scale, optimization, and production — not wrappers around existing APIs.

• Train and develop Deep Learning models and LLMs end-to-end
• Work deeply with PyTorch / TensorFlow
• Design and own training, evaluation, and post-training pipelines
• Collaborate closely with data, infra, and engineering on large-scale systems
• Shape the architecture, tech stack, and AI strategy from day one

• Hands-on, in-depth experience training LLMs
• Strong background in Deep Learning and Machine Learning
• Solid engineering foundation
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP), Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with at least one of the following:
• Deep Learning training optimization
• (parallelization, Megatron, DeepSpeed, FSDP)
• Custom kernel development
• (C++ / CUDA / Triton)
• Distributed systems, especially for large-scale model training or serving

• Background in cybersecurity
• Experience in early-stage startups alongside top tech companies
• Experience from elite technological military units
