Software Team Lead / Software Engineer – C# (Windows Environment)

Job Description

A leading defense company is seeking a Software Team Lead / Software Engineer (C#) to develop and maintain complex software systems in a Windows environment, as part of a multidisciplinary development team.

The role includes software development, system integrations, testing, and maintenance of operational systems, close collaboration with software and system engineering teams, and participation in preparation for system trials and experiments.

Mandatory Requirements

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering / Computer Science / relevant field – mandatory
• Proven experience in C# development in a Windows environment
• Experience working as part of a development team, including Git and Azure DevOps
• Experience with Multi-Threading / Multi-Tasking environments
• Experience in TCP / UDP communication development

Advantages

• Experience with WPF development
• Experience in team leadership or technical leadership

Responsibilities

• Implementing code changes and maintaining an existing system according to team lead guidelines
• Requirements analysis, system familiarization, and system execution
• Software development for a C2 (Command & Control) station
• Working with messaging interfaces between systems and units
• Performing integrations with internal and external interfaces
• Identifying and fixing software bugs
• Executing system tests, sanity tests, and testing new functionalities
• Supporting preparation for trials and executing system experiments
• Ongoing collaboration with software development and system engineering teams
