Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tel Aviv-Yafo for a Senior Magento 2 Developer at iStore. iStore, the official Apple reseller in Israel, is expanding its E-Commerce operations and building an advanced commerce platform based on Magento 2.x (latest versions).

We are looking for a Senior Magento 2 Developer for an in-house position, with full ownership of the platform’s technological core.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and maintenance of a Magento 2.x platform
• Development of custom Magento modules
• Implementation of complex business logic
• Integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM)
• Performance optimization, stability, and security enhancements
• Version upgrades and ongoing maintenance
• Close collaboration with Product, Marketing, Operations, and IT teams

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience developing with Magento 2.x
• Strong understanding of E-Commerce platforms and production environments
• Strong proficiency in PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience building custom Magento modules
• Hands-on experience with APIs (REST / GraphQL)
• Experience with MySQL and Git

Nice to have

Experience with Redis / Varnish / Elasticsearch

Experience with Docker, Linux, or Cloud environments

Experience in large-scale E-Commerce projects

Familiarity with Adobe Commerce, Headless architectures, or PWA
