About the Role
We’re looking for a marketing-first Product Marketing Manager to own, optimize and grow the entire BlazePod customer lifecycle from consideration to conversion to membership and monetization.
This role is heavily focused on accurate messaging for conversion, email marketing and membership/monetization programs, working at the intersection of product, growth, and retention. You will be responsible for translating BlazePod’s product value into compelling messaging and scalable lifecycle programs that drive engagement, subscription growth, and revenue through owned channels.
Key Responsibilities
Membership & Monetization Programs
- Own marketing strategy for BlazePod memberships, plans, and upgrades, with a strong focus on driving subscription growth and revenue
- Develop and optimize monetization programs including trials, promotions, upgrade paths, and renewal messaging
- Partner closely with Product to optimize paywalls, pricing communication, and upgrade prompts
- Align email and in-app monetization efforts to create a cohesive, high-converting customer journey
Conversion-Focused Messaging & Positioning
- Own customer-facing messaging across the BlazePod lifecycle with a strong focus on clarity, differentiation, and conversion
- Translate BlazePod’s product capabilities, training value, and membership benefits into compelling, benefit-driven messaging for different user segments
- Continuously refine value propositions, CTAs, and narratives based on performance data and customer behavior
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across website email, in-app surfaces, and other owned channels
- Own website optimization efforts
Email Marketing & Lifecycle Programs
- Lead BlazePod’s email marketing strategy across the full customer lifecycle
- Build, manage, and optimize automated lifecycle email programs using behavioral triggers, segmentation, and personalization
- Drive measurable conversion through email by testing messaging, structure, cadence, timing, and promotional mechanics
- Own email performance metrics, including conversion rate, subscription revenue, retention impact, and LTV contribution
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with Product, UA, Design, and Data to plan and execute lifecycle and monetization initiatives
- Support product launches, feature releases, and membership updates with clear messaging and conversion-focused campaigns
- Use customer insights, experimentation, and performance data to inform strategy and prioritize initiatives
- Act as the voice of the customer within marketing and in collaboration with product teams,
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing or Growth Marketing.
- Strong hands-on experience with email marketing (building flows, testing, optimization)
- Proven track record of driving conversion and revenue through owned channels
- Experience working with mobile apps, subscriptions, and in-app monetization
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, product-led environment
- Familiarity with CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools
