About the Role

• We are seeking a talented and driven R&D Physicist to join our multidisciplinary R&D team. This role bridges the gap between theoretical modeling and experimental breakthroughs. You will design next-generation hardware through numerical simulations and develop complex diamond-based deep-tech applications

Key Responsibilities

• Numerical Modeling & Design: Design and optimize reactor components and machine parts using numerical simulations (Thermal/Plasma)
• Develop diamond based deep-tech applications for thermal managements, optics and other fields
• Growth Process R&D: Collaborate with the growth team to refine diamond synthesis techniques and improve system performance
• Vacuum Systems Management: Work hands-on with high-vacuum systems and complex experimental setups

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Physics
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. (preferred) in Solid State Physics, Materials Science, or Chemistry
• At least 2 year experience in working in semiconductor fabrication facility (clean rooms)
• Numerical Simulation Expertise: Proven experience in numerical modeling and simulations. Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics (Plasma/Thermal modules) is a major plus
• Vacuum Systems: Practical, hands-on experience with vacuum technology and equipment
• Collaborative Mindset: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a high-tech R&D environment.
