A Jerusalem-based medical startup developing an innovative cancer therapy is seeking a V&V and NPI Engineer to join the development team.
About this role:
The V&V and NPI Engineer will plan, conduct, and manage design validations and lead projects in cooperation with R&D, Engineering and Production teams projects in support of the company’s strategic plan.
The V&V and NPI engineer is responsible leading product sterilization, packaging and risk assessments on design and V&V phases, support transfer to production phase and play a dominant role in preparing all R&D projects to design completion
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related field – required.
- Proven experience in the medical device industry – minimum 2 years required.
- Project management experience – required.
- Familiarity with ISO/CE/FDA certification requirements – required.
- Experience working with risk assessments (DFMEA, PFMEA) – an advantage
- SOLIDWORKS knowledge – an advantage.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong analytical and engineering thinking, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Full-time position at the company’s offices in Jerusalem.
- Travel abroad is required from time to time
- The position is open to all genders.
