A leading Israeli public energy company is seeking a General Counsel (VP Legal) to lead the legal function and serve as a strategic partner to senior management and the Board.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all legal matters across the group (commercial & corporate)
- Manage and develop the in-house legal team
- Oversee corporate governance, compliance and securities-law requirements
- Lead complex transactions, strategic agreements, M&A and financing activity
- Manage Board and corporate secretary matters
- Work closely with regulators and external top-tier law firms
Requirements:
- Israeli-qualified attorney (Adv.)
- 7+ years PQE, strong commercial background
- Proven experience leading an in-house legal function and managing a legal team
- Public company / capital markets experience – strong advantage
- Energy / infrastructure experience – advantage
