Hardware Development Engineer – Board Design 236353

• Design and development of electronic modules / boards in accordance with IAI product development processes.
• Definition of hardware system architecture for avionics and/or ground systems.
• Writing and maintaining hardware specifications for enclosures and boards (SPEC).
• Leading product development with subcontractors, including work plan management, design reviews, schedules, and integrations.
• Definition of hardware–firmware–software integration documents and active participation in integration activities.
• Participation in final system integration and testing phases.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in digital board design (CPU, DDR, FPGA components) and analog boards for complex systems, including specification, schematic design support, integration, transfer to production, and subcontractor management – mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in hardware/firmware/software integration – mandatory.
• Experience in writing design and system documents, interface control documents (ICDs), documentation for software teams, and summary reports.
• Knowledge of Power Integrity and Signal Integrity simulations.
• Experience in FPGA development, including coding, simulations, and lab integration – advantage.
• Strong system-level thinking and the ability to design hardware architecture for complex projects.
• Experience in supporting qualification and compliance testing through transfer to production.
