Financial Controller

Wanted: Financial Controller for a global Advertising & Media group in Tel Aviv (hybrid).

The chosen candidate will operate as the sole financial function in Israel, managing end‑to‑end accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial operations while working closely with global headquarters.

This role requires strong independence, ownership, and experience within multinational environments.

Job Responsibilities:

● Oversee and control all aspects of accounting management, including billing, collection, reconciliation, payments, tax forms, intercompany processes, and reporting.

● Prepare financial statements in accordance with global guidelines and official regulatory requirements.

● Manage journal entries, invoices, and account reconciliations for monthly and annual closing.

● Report financial results to global management on a monthly basis.

● Manage and analyze Cash Flow and Net Working Capital.

● Prepare and report annual budgets and financial forecasts.

● Prepare statutory financial reports, including tax reports, and manage the annual audit process with external auditors and advisors.

● Professionally manage and guide two bookkeepers, including task assignment, progress monitoring, and ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all financial processes.

● Review accounting data to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.

● Utilize accounting and ERP systems to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.

● Support the development and implementation of internal control systems across the organization.

Job Requirements:

● BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

● CPA certification — required.

● 2–3 years of experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller in a corporate environment.

● Fluent in English and Hebrew.

● Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant regulations.

● Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping, journal entries, trial balance, and reconciliations.

● Experience with budgeting, financial closing, and financial reporting processes.

● Hands‑on analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify variances, and detect trends.

● Proficiency with accounting platforms and ERP systems, including the ability to leverage automation and data analytics tools.

● Highly organized, able to prioritize effectively, and capable of working independently as a sole financial function.

● Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
