Role Description

The teaching laboratory serves approximately 800 students per year in performing basic experiments in electronics in the second and third years of studies.

The role includes full management of the laboratory:

Managing a team of an engineer, an administrator + instructors

Managing training and guidance of approximately 20 instructors, some experienced engineers, and some M.Sc D.Sc Students

Purchasing, fundraising, and recruiting engineers

Managing the academic syllabus

Developing advanced experiments in analog, digital, and integrated fields, including writing the experiments, training presentations, developing hardware and software for the experiments

Responsible for the safety of the work processes.

Qualifications

A graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, with a preference for a master's or doctoral degree.

Professional experience in the industry of 10 years or more in the fields of analog and digital electronics and computer-aided design.

 Extensive knowledge of VERILOG programming and simulation systems for analog and digital fields.

Extensive knowledge of electronics fundamentals – transistors, amplifiers, and digital processing.

Proven experience in project management, budgeting, team management, and employees and instructors.

Proven experience in training and guiding students.

Teamwork with students and laboratory staff, and frontal teaching ability.

Good interpersonal skills. Willingness to work flexible hours according to work needs.
